Baltan Laboratories and the Van Abbemuseum collaborate for GLOW 2011 (5-12 November)

Baltan Laboratories and the Van Abbemuseum are collaborating on a commission of a major new installation by choreographer, dancer, lighting designer and artist Hiroaki Umeda (JP), for GLOW 2011. split flow, to be presented in the Van Abbemuseum from 5-12 November 2011, continues the artist’s explorations into light and movement, and is the third installation he has developed as an extension of his dance practice. This project is a first major outcome of a new collaboration that the two organisations started in 2011.
On Sunday, November 6 at 20:00, Hiroaki Umeda will give a talk about his work in the auditorium of the Van Abbemuseum.
