My digital 2 cents:

INTK has their Uncloud, might be interesting: http://www.intk.com/uncloud . Wifi deadrops are heating up too, like CloudFTP on Kickstarter. There’s also an app for android that does the same. At NetNiet.org we had something similar years ago, called NotSpots, which was again based on a guy with a wifi router in his backpack that roamed Central Park to provide Wifi.

The analog Deaddrops remind me of the couches by Cabracega or Bertrand Planes. I saw them at Shift ’08: http://www.flickr.com/photos/torke20/2947384157/

Like most anonymous public objects, they were filled with digital filth..

Neo-Sneakernet harks back to the Twilight days, when sharing burnt CD’s full of warez was the only viable way to share files. Maybe we’ll go back to that. Unless someone finally gets mesh networking going (distributed DNS is proving very difficult). But I doubt that will ever hit critical mass.. *dreams on*

Oh, and invite Danja! He’s working on this:
