Baltan welcomes Joanknecht, an Eindhoven-based accountancy firm, to its industrial partnership program. Already for 70 years, Joanknecht is an established name in the regional accountancy world. Internationally, they are an independent member firm of PrimeGlobal, one of the largest associations of independent accounting firms in the world. With a portfolio of over 1000 clients, mostly family-owned businesses, Joanknecht now enters into a partnership with Baltan to help shape the future of its successful business. For Baltan, it's another unique example of how, as a cultural organization, it brings value to the strategic visions of frontrunners in industry.

The relationship between Baltan and Joanknecht took off during Baltan's Economia Festival in 2017. Marco Verhagen, Managing Partner at Joanknecht, attended the festival and became inspired by a.o. Jennifer Lyn Morone IncTM, and MONIAC by Daniel de Bruin. This made him and his partners at Joanknecht hungry for more. So recently Joanknecht decided to team up with Baltan to also give their employees and clients access to some of Baltan's inspiring projects and events.

Marco Verhagen: "We are experienced in providing good and solid solutions for all types of financial and fiscal questions to our clients. These are questions that are known to us. To keep ahead in business it is vital that we also keep a perspective on the unknown questions. In that respect, we collaborate with Baltan to provide us with insights that we ourselves would never have thought to ask about."

Olga Mink, Director at Baltan Laboratories: "We are delighted to welcome Joanknecht as a partner. It shows that artistic research can bring value to visionary professionals from industry. Also, it illustrates the relevance of the topical focus on Economy, which in 2017 we've added to our portfolio. Joanknecht is historically firmly rooted in the region and in tune with the Eindhoven DNA of interdisciplinary collaborations. I can imagine that also the family-owned businesses in their client base are strongly driven by ethics and moral values. I am looking forward to the mutual inspiration that the interaction with Joanknecht and clients will bring. "
